Conversion to Base Weight

If the Type of this Unit of Measure is Weight and if Batch manufacturing is required, enter the conversion factor of this unit of measure to the Base Weight as defined in the Company Setup.

Description

Use this field to give more detailed information about the unit of measure.

Do Not Allow Decimals

Check this field if a decimal quantity will not be permitted for the Unit of Measure when posting inventory transactions. (For Example, if you have an item with the Sales Unit of Measure of Case, you won't be able to sell half or .5 cases).

Type

The types of the Unit of Measure can be Length, Area, Volume, Weight, Time, Price, Package, Batch or Other.
