Units of Measure represent a unit in which your items can be represented - such as a Pound, an Each, a 50LB/Case, etc.

Conversion to Base Weight

Only required for Batch Manufacturing.
Specific to Weight Units. In your Company setup, you can define what your base weight unit is - KG, OZ, LB, etc. This field allows you to define the conversion for the Unit in question to the Base Unit.
