Configure Page Layouts for Project Tracking
Overview
By default, Project and Project Tasks are hidden from the custom Edit page layouts. Follow the steps below to add Project and Project Tasks to them for the following objects:
Sales Order
Add the Project field to the Field Set specified below.
GoldFinch will default the Project to the Sales Line.
Sales Line
Add Project and Project Task fields to the Field Set specified below.
Sales Invoice
Add the Project field to the Field Set specified below.
GoldFinch will copy the Project from the Sales Order.
Sales Invoice Line
Project and Project Tasks are copied from the Sales Line.
GoldFinch will post Project and Project Tasks to the Income Statement GL Accounts.
GoldFinch does not post Project and Project Tasks to GL Entries of Balance Sheet GL Accounts.
Add Project and Project Task fields to the Field Set specified below.
Purchase Order
Add the Project field to the Field Set specified below.
GoldFinch will default the Project to the Purchase Line.
Purchase Line
Add Project and Project Task fields to the Field Set specified below.
Purchase Invoice
Add the Project field to the Field Set specified below.
GoldFinch will copy the Project from the Purchase Order.
Purchase Invoice Line
Project and Project Tasks are copied from the Purchase Line.
GoldFinch will post Project and Project Tasks to income Statement GL Accounts.
GoldFinch does not track Project and Project Tasks for Balance Sheet Accounts.
Add Project and Project Task fields to the Field Set specified below.
Item Journal Line
Add Project and Project Task fields to both Field Sets.
General Journal Line
Add Project and Project Task fields to the Field Set specified below.
