Phantom BOMs
Overview
To set up the Phantom BOM feature in GoldFinch, follow these stepss:
All Phantom BOM items must be a service item.
Item Formula for the Phantom BOM Items should be set up.
Add Phantom BOM items to the parent’s Item Formula as components.
To differentiate Phantom BOMs from other service items, add “Phantom BOM” as part of the Item Description.
When creating a Work Order for the parent item, GoldFinch will automatically replace the Phantom BOM component with its underlying Item Formulas.
Link to Operation No.
You can specify the Link to Operation No. for Phantom BOM’s components.
Let’s assume a Parent Item has 3 Item Routings:
