Why can’t I just use the camera on the smartphone/device to scan?	The Salesforce mobile app does not work with the camera to take in scanned values. While it is technically possible to customize the app to work with cameras, there are many limitations: Scanning Ability - Limited read range. Scanning Process - Requires focusing, and moving the device into range for the camera. Speed - Slow scanning capabilities, especially in difficult lighting conditions, and slow in converting pictures to scanned values.
From the App Store, why can’t I download and install the Salesforce1 app?	Go to Settings. Make sure Payment is set up for the App Store with a credit card number.
Why does The Sled not scan into Salesforce1 App?	Try to scan to the Notes app on the iPhone. If that does not work either, it must be that the HID mode of the Sled is disabled. With the Sled attached to the iPhone, go to the App Store. Download Captuva Firmware Upgrade toolkit. Follow the screen instructions to upgrade the firmware to the latest one (There could be multiple firmware versions listed. Just choose the latest one to upgrade). If you still cannot scan, the only option is for you to send it back to the manufacturer to enable HID mode and to reset to the right version of Firmware.
