Item Usage
Item Usage is a summary view of item transactions by Inventory Period Type (By Month, or By Week) as defined by Demand Planning Setup.
These records are updated based on posted Item Ledger Entries when the Supply Plan Daily Routine is run. Historical Item Usage records can also be imported with historical data before going live with GoldFinch ERP in order to have sufficient history to forecast for future periods.

Ending Date | The period ending date of the Item Usage record. |
ILE Adjustment Qty. | The accumulated total of the Item Ledger Entries where the Document Type = Adjustment. Information-purpose only. |
ILE Consumption Qty. | The accumulated total of the Item Ledger Entries where the Document Type = Consumption. Information-purpose only. |
ILE Shipment Qty. | The accumulated total of the Item Ledger Entries where the Document Type = Shipment. Information-purpose only. It should be the same as Sales Qty. |
ILE Transfer Qty. | The accumulated total of the Item Ledger Entries with the Document Type = Transfer. Information-purpose only. |
Item | The Item for this Item Usage record. |
No. of Days | The Number of Days between the Starting Date and the Ending Date. |
Sales Adj. Qty. | A Roll-up Summary of Item Usage Adjustments. Adjustment quantities can be entered with reasons for each of the Item Usage Entries to account for abnormal sales activities or exclusions. |
Sales Qty. | The accumulated total for all sales shipments, including returns. |
Sales Usage Hits | Incremented by 1 for each outbound sales shipment. |
Starting Date | The period starting date of the Item Usage record. |
Warehouse | The warehouse for this Item Usage record. |
