Import Item Formulas

Overview

This function is used to import the ingredients associated with manufactured items or Kit BOM items.

Prepare Import Item Formulas Template

Before importing the Item Formulas, there are some fields that will need to be set up beforehand in GoldFinch.  These are:

Populate the Import Item Formula Template with your Item Formula information to be imported.  For Batch Manufactured Items, Qty. Per is for the default Batch Unit of Measure.  For other items, Qty. Per is for the Base Unit of Measure.  The mandatory fields to be populated to create a record are highlighted in red.  There is sample data in the template for you to use as a guide.

You can either select the individual record(s) you want to import or if you don't select any records, GoldFinch will process all of the records where Processed is NOT checked.

After the Item Formulas have been successfully created, the Processed field will be checked.

Error Resolution

If there are any errors, the Item Formulas will not be created until the errors have been resolved.
