One of the reasons we love Salesforce is that it can be customized. Some customizations can be done with basic admin skills, whereas some require the skills of a developer or an architect.

Adding Custom Fields | As an Admin, you can add fields to any object in your Salesforce Org. You may be limited to what GoldFinch pages you can add them to and you will be limited to how that field is used in GoldFinch logic. |
Creating Objects | As an Admin, you can add custom objects to your Salesforce Org. You will be limited to how that object is used in GoldFinch logic. |
Workflows | Workflows are part of standard Salesforce and can be used on GoldFinch objects. As an Admin, you have access to create any workflows you see fit, but we do recommend that you get comfortable with your live GoldFinch implementation before making these types of decisions. |
Approvals | Similar to Workflows, Approvals are part of standard Salesforce and can be used on GoldFinch objects. As an Admin, you have access to create any approval processes you see fit, but we do recommend that you get comfortable with your live GoldFinch implementation before making these types of decisions. |
Process Builder | The Process Builder is a more advanced Workflow builder that Admins have access to. You will be limited to how you can use Process builder with GoldFinch logic. |
Custom Functionality | If you find that you have an idea for a new feature for GoldFinch, reach out to us. We are constantly adding features to the GoldFinch base package, so your idea may already be in the works. |
