Creating a Production Journal

Overview

The Production Journal is the feature that you will use to create output and consume raw materials. In other words, you will increase the inventory of the item you are making and decrease the inventory of the components.  You may have several production journals per Work Order, depending on your manufacturing operations.  

Create a Production Journal

1. From the Work Order, click on Create Prod. Journal.

   

2. You will be taken to the Item Journal Page. 

   

   Once your journal is created, you can move on to editing the journal and posting output and consumption.
