Create Sales Quotes
Overview
Before creating a Sales Order, you can first create a Sales Quote. A Sales Quote allows you to provide a potential customer with pricing and product information without committing inventory. Once the quote is accepted, you can easily convert it into a Sales Order.
How to Create a Sales Quote
Open the App Launcher
Search for "Sales Quotes" in the app launcher.
Click "New"
Begin by clicking the "New" button to create a fresh quote.
Enter Customer Information
Once you input the customer’s details in the "Sell-to Customer" field, their default billing and shipping information will auto-fill. You can adjust this data as needed for the specific quote.Add Line Items
Click the "Add Lines" button to start adding items to the quote.Enter the product (Item), Unit of Measure, and Quantity for each line.
The system will automatically calculate the Unit Price and Line Discounts based on factors such as Customer, Quote Date, Item Category, Unit of Measure, and Quantity.

If needed, you can manually adjust the Unit Price and Discount fields.
Save the Quote
Once you’ve entered all the required information, click "Save."
Print and Send the Quote
Click the "Print Quote" button to generate a document version of the quote. You can save it as a PDF and send it via email to your prospective customer.
