1099 Box

Select a pre-defined 1099 box value if 1099 Vendor field is checked.

1099 Vendor

Check this box if you want to track 1099 information for the vendor.

Accounting Variable 1, 2, 3, 4

Default accounting variable for the account.

Account Posting Group

Used in combination with an Item in Account Posting Setup to map G/L Accounts for posted Sales or Purchase Orders. Review Account Posting Setup for more details.

Allocation Priority

Used by Sales Order allocation. Default values are 1, 2, and 3, and can be customized. Smaller values have higher allocation priority.

Alternate Billing

Defines a separate Account that is responsible for bill payment. When a Sales or Purchase Order is entered, the Bill-to Customer or Pay-to Vendor will default to the Account entered in Alternate Billing.

AR Balance

Automatically calculated from GoldFinch AR module (if Enabled Cash Receipt is checked on Company Setup)

AP Balance

Automatically calculated from GoldFinch AP module

Billing Contact

The Billing Contact for the Account.

Billing Name

The Billing Name for the Account used on Sales Orders.

Blocked

If checked, you can still enter Sales Orders but you will not be allowed to create Whse Shipments for this account. You will not be able to enter Purchase Orders, and you will not be allowed to create Whse Receipts for this account.

BreakBulk UOM

Default UOM that will print on the Sales Invoice. This UOM can be different from the Ordering UOM, and Shipping UOM. Review Breakbulk UOM for Invoicing page for more help.

Broker

Select the Broker associated with the Account, if applicable. The lookup is limited to Accounts where the "Is Broker" field is checked.  It is typically used for distributor/customer Accounts.

Buy from Distributor

Select the Distributor associated with the Account. The lookup is limited to Accounts where the "Is Customer" field is checked. It is typically used for retailer Accounts.

Credit Limit

Defines the Credit Limit for the Account. Leave blank if the credit is unlimited.

Cross Reference Required on EDI Orders

If checked, you will not be allowed to create an invoice for an EDI order, if the cross-reference field is blank on any sales line.

Currency Code

The default Currency code for the Account. If blank, Default Currency Code on Company Setup is used when creating new transactions.

Customer Channel

The default channel for the Account, such as B2B, B2C, etc.

Customer No.

Entered manually or generated by GoldFinch automatically when Is Customer is checked.

Do Not Allocate

If checked, Items entered on a Sales Order for the Account will not be automatically allocated.

Do Not Allow Duplicate PO

If checked, Customer PO No. cannot be blank and cannot be a duplicate on Sales Orders for the Account.

E-Commerce ID

Use this field to store the E-Commerce Id for Shopify, WooCommerce, or other e-commerce sites. This ID is used to link the Account when converting downloaded e-commerce orders to Sales Orders.

EDI Provider

EDI Software Provider. Information purpose only.

EDI Shipping ID

Defines the Account used when processing EDI 850 orders.

Freight Terms

This field will be used as the default on a Bill of Lading that is created for the Account.  Select from the options Prepaid, Collect, or Third Party.

Is Broker

If checked, the Account is a broker. This field is for information purposes only.

Is Co-Packer

If checked, the Account is a co-packer. This field is for information purposes only.

Is Customer

If checked, the Account is a customer. An Account can be used for both a Customer and a Vendor.

Is Residence

If checked, the Account's address is residential. This is used when integrating with a Shipping Application to determine the shipping rate.

Is Retailer

If checked, the Account is a retailer. This field is for information purposes only.

Is Vendor

If checked, the Account is a vendor. An Account can be used for both a Customer and a Vendor.

Ordering Contact

The Email address of the Sell-to Customer's Ordering Contact.  This information will be used as the 'To' email address when emailing Sales Order confirmation documents. 

Order Note

The default order note for a Sales Order or a Purchase Order.

Payment Term

The default Payment Term for the Account. If blank, Default Payment Term on Company Setup is used when creating new transactions.

Print Cross Reference on Packing List

If checked, Cross Reference will be printed on the Packing List.

Print Cross Reference on Pallet List

If checked, Cross Reference will be printed on the Pallet List.

Print Cross Reference on PO

Print the Item Cross Reference No. and Cross Item Description (if not blank) on Purchase Order documents in place of the standard Item No. and Item Description

Purchasing Agent

Used as default on Purchase Order.

Sales Pricing Group

Defines any special Sales Prices applicable to the Account when entering a Sales Order.

Shipping Account No.

Used to store UPS or FedEx Shipping No. if the Shipping Payment Type is TP-Third Party.

Shipping Agent

The default Shipping Agent for this Account, such as UPS, FedEx, Truck, etc.  

Shipping Agent Service

The default Shipping Agent Service for the Shipping Agent, such as UPS Ground, or FedEx First Overnight. It is used when integrating with Zenkraft to determine the shipping service and rate.  Values are defined in a Global Value Set.

Shipping Contact

The default Shipping Contact for the Account.

Shipping Payment Type

The default Shipping Payment Type for the Account.  Select from PP-Prepaid. CC-Collect, or TP-Third Party. This field is also used when integrating with Zenkraft to determine the shipping rate. You must change the selection options to Sender, Recipient, or Third Party before configuring the integration with Zenkraft.  Values are defined in a Global Value Set.

Special BOL Instructions

This field will be used as the default Special Instructions printed on a Bill of Lading for the Account.

Tax Area

The Tax Area for the Account. Used to calculate sales tax. If blank, Default Tax Area on Company Setup is used when creating new transactions.

Tax Exemption No.

The Tax Exemption No. for the Account, if applicable.  

Tax ID No.

The Tax ID No. for the Account. It could be used for Tax Registration No.

Tax Liable

Signifies that the Account is liable for taxation. Sales tax will be calculated based on the Tax Area defined.

Transportation Method

The default shipping method is used for the Account. Select from the options H-Customer Pickup, and M-Motor (Common Carrier).  Values are defined in a Global Value Set.

Warehouse

The default Warehouse for the Account. If blank, Default Warehouse on Company Setup is used when creating new transactions.

Vendor No.

Entered manually or generated by GoldFinch automatically when Is Vendor is checked.
